Welcome to the Amersham and District Motorbus Society website.

As a group, we organise 3 running days per year, Slough, Hemel Hempstead and Amersham.  We also attend various events and rallies during the year.  We are now involved with organising the Uxbridge, Ruislip and Northwood Running Day together with John Stanton.  Take a look at our Dates to Remember section to see where we are going and Upcoming Events to see events we organise or are involved in.

Society Christmas Dinner - 19th December 2008

To join our Society click here.  Our membership is only £10 per year which covers quarterly newsletters full of interesting information, inexpensive travel to rallies and running days in the company of like-minded enthusiasts!, the opportunity of helping with our own Vintage Bus Running Days, winter activities, transport slides and video evenings and an invitation to Christmas Meal.  In addition, as a member you can also join the Committee and have a voice on deciding what we do as a Society.

We are always looking for interesting articles or photographs to put on the website, so if you have something you may like to add please send it to contact@amershammotorbussociety.co.uk.  We are especially interested in photos of buses you may have seen or from excursions.

We are a small group, just over 50 members at present.  We have members from all walks of life with different interests and occupations and a wide range of ages.  This website was set up in 2006 and has expanded over time.  Our members send in items to be added to the site.  You will find details of upcoming events, rally information, running days and points of interest.  There are also personal stories from members about rallies they have attended, historical items and other bus related items.
