3rd Hemel Running
Day was held on 22nd June 2008
It was a bit worrying in the morning to see the
cloudy skies, but by around 9.30am it cleared up and became a lovely day,
despite some blustery winds which almost took our Gazebo away.
 |
The weather obviously agreed with enthusiasts
and public alike as Hemel bus station was buzzing with camera snapping
enthusiasts and families alike. |
 |
There were many stalls selling memorabilia,
models, photographs and other items. Buses were busy with passengers
and owners/operators reported a busy day, some with standing room only in
places. |
 |
The A&DMBS Control Point under the green
gazebo was busy all day selling programmes and providing information
for passengers and enthusiasts. |
 |
 |
We had 21 vehicles running services throughout
the day to St Albans, Watford, Chesham, Amersham, Aylesbury, Tring,
Berkhamsted, Harpenden, Dunstable and many delightful villages |
