ABINGDON AIR AND COUNTRY SHOW

SUNDAY 2ND MAY 2010

Malcolm and Steve are taking their bus to the above and invite members of

High Wycombe Model Engineering Club and Amersham & District Motorbus Society to come along.

From the website  http://www.abingdonfayre.com/whatson.php

It's not just an air show! The Abingdon Air & Country Show will hopefully have, as well as a large scale fly-in of both modern & vintage aeroplanes and the associated air display a varied ground show.

We have always aimed to make our show a great family day out with lots to do and see for everybody - and it's all for charity, as we support the local Air Ambulance. The Thames Valley & Chiltern Air Ambulance, like all Air Ambulance services in the UK, is funded entirely by donations from the public and private companies. See the home page for the donation we gave in 2009.

Ground Attractions will include the return of the Dr Who Daleks, Sheepdog demonstrations, a parade of Harley-Davidson motorcycles, RBS Williams F1 showcar, various World War Two re-enactment displays, Mobile Farm, Crafts Fayre, A Top Fuel Dragster showcar, Tank Rides, Kids Amusements including Bouncy Castle, Climbing Wall & Crazy Cottage, resident Dalton Barracks Army display exhibits aswell as over 80 Trade Stalls & Displays, Abingdon MG Car Works meet, the return of Fiona Harrison singing 1940s music and more!
